. . .When not on a case, detective Morris would make his way down to the Borough market for a scotch egg and a Pimm’s cup if he was feeling frisky. He had helped out one of the vendors years back who had been caught in a rather ugly blackmail incident and owed Morris his life. Clive Summers was his name. He was a weaselly and untrustworthy man, but had enough dirt on the other vendors and the locals to put even a bulldozer to shame. This would be where Morris would begin his investigation.
